Hello alles!

Another weekend has come and gone...
On Saturday, I went to an Oktoberfest at the Ginger Man Pub. It was great! live music, long picnic tables, and it got pretty full towards the end of the night. I was extremely impressed with their beer selections, it's like nothing i've seen in Houston. I think the only one to compare it with was another place called House of Brews, in NYC.
I'm actually excited to see so many Oktoberfest activities pop up in Houston this year! Or it may be that i'm finally paying more attention to them, since i'm 21. 21 is the magical number here in the states, where you're finally free to drink whatever you want without having to worry about someone getting it for you. (come on underagers, most of you find someone to buy your booze...)
I'm excited for another episode of DEXTER tonight! The season premier last week was nothing short of amazing; it kept me hanging on to every second of the episode. You know Autumn is finally here when Dexter begins!
Speaking of Autumn, it is hand down my favorite season of all. The weather is starting to cool down, and mother nature is letting her guard down to welcome winter, and eventually a new year (3 more months until 2011!). Time sure has flown by...and it usually does when you're active, and having fun as well.
That's my update for now.
Bis Später!

September Blues

Hah! You would think this is another emo post...it kind of is.
September has had its ups and downs. Hopefully, for my sanity's sake, most of the downs are over with. The downs being that I just had a lot of homework to do, there were drastic changes at work, and there was something in my personal life I had to figure out. The last thing has been figured out, thankfully. I won't go into details about it, but i'm happy where it stands now, and i'm not looking for anything serious (and neither is he, but a lot of things point to the contrary. whatever, life is short, make the best of what you have now.)
Sorry if that last part was a little vague; it'll only make sense if you know me well enough or I trust you enough to share details with you (remember, this is a blog of ramblings, not a personal tabloid!)

Anyway, Oktoberfest season is here! I went to an Oktoberfest out in The Woodlands However, I was only out there for only a few hours, and it was pretty small, muddy, pricey, and with unpredictable weather (I imagine the real thing in München is the same, except for the small aspect).
I am looking forward to getting glücklich after drinking some Oktoberfest brews! I have another Oktoberfest event next Saturday at the St. Arnold's Brewery wait, nevermind. Registration is closed. Bummer.

Anyway, I have to do laundry. So, ciao for now.

Gah!

Well, it's been almost a year since my last update. I realized I had a life, so I sort of disappeared. Actually, that's a lie, I never had a life.
But anyway, much has changed since the last time. I would tell you this, except I don't want this to be just any ordinary blog.
By the way, I got back on here mainly because my friend Tricia K, aka T-Dawg has been blogging about her adventures in Dresden. I'm entirely jealous of her trip, and her blog is a great source information about a typical American foreigner spending a semester abroad. Except she likes visiting S&M love parties. :P
I'm actually looking into spending next Fall semester in Leipzig, through the University of Houston German study abroad program. It sounds great! The only catch is that only two students are chosen to go, for only a semester, and if you do get picked, you don't have to pay anything extra. Sounds like a sweet deal to me!
Hopefully the months of September and Oktober will be filled with all sorts of activities, and of course, lots of OKTOBERFESTS!
Bis Spaeter(until next time/update)!
PS- if you go to Tricia's blog, click on the Ads! And the Ads on here as well. We'll earn some extra cash. I'll be sure to do the same on your blog, if you have AdSense.

it's time for another update.

It seems that in the past couple of months, friends have tended to forget my existence.
Well, let's put it this way: we all crave attention, it's in out nature to crave attention. You seek it, it's the thrill of seeking it that keeps us active. But when we finally receive it, we reject it.
This time, i'm just rejecting it all.
I'm sick of keeping communication with those who claim they will get back to me. When they do get back to me, i'll be busy. Plain and simple. I don't want the attention anymore; I used to be the holding glue for many relationships. But that glue has worn off.
To those who call back when you finally have the time and didn't make a few minutes of room,
To those who i've tried to get ahold of on multiple occasions: consider yourself ignored. I'll fight the urge to respond to your wall post/call/text somehow. I'll respond to your invitation with a simple "busy."
It's a mix of frustration and yes, an upcoming busy season working retail that I will simply not let me get back with you.
I'll catch you on the flip side.

Look who has returned.

Hi there.

I'm absolutely in love with this album:

Ladytron - Velocifero

It seems to be my pick me up, no matter what mood i'm in. I don't know if it's the synthesizers, Mira's Bulgarian, Daniel's guitar, Helen's voice, and Reuben's keyboards. It's the mix that creates such a flow of sound with fluidity and keeps me going through the daily hells of life. My vocabulary is expanding as well, who knew I was still capable of learning more :)

It's time to go on a break from the norm. Summer couldn't come at a better time. It feels like all the professors are in on a conspiracy to shove what seems an unbearable load of homework to make us feel like we've finally earned our break. But guess what? I KNOW YOUR SECRET.
Well, maybe.

Wisconsin in a few weeks. I miss the corn fields, cow manure, trees, mosquitoes, and good ol' fashioned back country restaurants. Especially Dairy Maid. How I miss thee.

NEW YEAR!?!?!

Yep, it's 2009 already. The start of a brand spankin' new year.
Working at RadioShack is good. I got my first paycheck already. Time to pay the bills. Ah snap, i need to change an appointment.
Nothing eventful, I start school on Wednesday, I'll be heading to UH again tomorrow to go see what books i need and then buy them online. HAHAHA take that overpriced books at the bookstore!
It's weird to be back home. Not as much privacy, no friends to live with. Sounds like i need to rent an apartment with some roommates.
Next semester. Maybe.
